The White Room represents the collective’s second foray into the house genre, following their first release “Thread Count” on Floyd Vader’s DeepLike Label. The White Room celebrates the spirit of rebirth, newness and infinite potential. It is simultaneously meant to encourage the listener to seize the day, particularly on the heels of setback, complacency or loss. The song has a deeply immense ethereal sound that can only be described as golden light made audible… Warm and fresh, like if you could hear the sunrise. The amalgamation of Nova’s airy maternal affirmations and NativeSun’s strong, yet gently reassuring vocals create a tonal Embrace that is meant to uplift and support those going through absolutely anything.

Native Jenkins is a 5-man collective based out of the Tidewater region of Virginia, USA. They initially came together as members of the now defunct Zulu Nation Chapter 30, and continued on to make Hip Hop, House and Soul Music. The squad is composed of Guerilla Will, NativeSun, Sirius B, Floyd Vader & Novakane Omega.

Guerilla Will is an up and coming multi-genre producer out of Norfolk, Va. Although he is relatively new to production, he is no stranger to deep house music and culture. His house journey spans 17 years and includes education, dance and cultural documentation. Will’s production style can be described as funky, sexy, explorative and “pimpish”.

Novakane Omega is a Vocalist, Producer, DJ, and a 30 year veteran Emcee out of Norfolk, VA. She is most known for her lyrical savvy, deep vibe curations, as well as her sultry vocal texture and erotic vocal style. Nova got her start in underground music as 1/6 of the Jhunippuz Elite Poetry Organization, a hyper lyrical Hip Hop group founded by her husband Sirius B. They would eventually branch off to form the duo - The Rubber Peeple.

NativeSun is an artist that developed his versatile approach to music in Hampton Roads' abundantly talented and eclectic environment. His origins are in the 757’s formidable hip-hop scene where he was a key member in various groups including NativeFace, and THE BLAX (The Rubber Peeple + NativeSun). His proficiency in rhyme did not hinder his love for vocals and instrumentation as he would often collaborate with fellow Norfolk Native, Novakane Omega, to develop a uniquely soulful sound that they would further refine as the SUNRAZE.
